Its probably a given that having nothing other than fighting, fighting, fighting CAN get rather dull after a while.. even with the most hardcore fight-fan..

In this case, its probably a decent idea to have other "events" that can pose a challenge without non-stop combat..

here's a few ideas

Bi-Athalon

In our version of this event, it would be something like part race, and part marksmanship.. or better still, the player is given a specific combat task to do at several "stations" along the racecourse. This is done against the clock, lowest time wins. (we also could add in points for how fast or how cleanly the task stations are completed, and award bonus points for that as well..which would affect overall ranking)

Steeplechase

There can be two versions of this event.. single contenders, or small teams (3 to 5 players).. put simply this is a variation of the obstacle couse. in the team-based one, the first team to have at least 3 team-members over the finish line wins the event. With solo players, first one to the goal-line is winner... again, we could also add bouns points for speed or time.

The Eradicator

The obstacle course from hell.... I have no info about this one specifically, but I got some ideas.. I'd like some suggestions too...

anyway, thats enough for a start... any other ideas? Keep in mind, the name of the game is "extreme".. meaning we need events that would make some of the most reckless X-Gamers cringe..

okay.. I've been watching "Ninja Warrior" on my G4 OD channel... and to be honest, I think we should keep an eye on this show to get ideas for the gauntlet and the eradicator.. with something THAT extreme.. I think we can really use some ideas from that...
